Single Review: EleventyFour - Snapshots

'Snapshots' is a delightful quirky mature pop song from EleventyFour who has successfully expanded her sound without losing the charm which infuses her live performances.

Around the late 90's I became enchanted by the subtle songs and charming sounds of Dar Williams.  Dar Williams is an amazing songwriter who can write in depth meaningful songs while still maintaining the type of inoffensive charm which I lapped up. EleventyFour has the same effect on me. 'Snapshots' is a meaningful quirky folk song with singalong qualities and an indie soundtrack which is pitched perfectly to compliment Dorothy's fine vocals. The song conjures up that feeling you get from looking back at photographs and using these memories as motivation for life in the now.
